Deep-fried Glazed Chocolate Donut Holes Recipe

These are cake donuts which means that there is no yeast and no need to wait for the dough to rise. The donuts themselves can be made in under 30 minutes, add some additional time for optional glazing.
Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
¼ cup cacao
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup milk
1. Place all of the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Whisk to combine.
2. Add the wet ingredients and stir until well mixed.
3. Heat 1 cup of oil in your Microfryer to 350-360° F.
4. Using a cookie dough scoop, carefully drop 2 balls of dough into the Microfryr and start your 3 minute timer. Rotate occasionally.
5. After 3 minutes carefully remove each donut hole with a pair of long tongs, allow to drain and place on a cooling rack.
6. Allow donut holes to cool prior to glazing.
Glaze:
2 cups confectioners’ (powdered) sugar
4 TBSP warm water
2 tsp vanilla
1. Place sugar in a small mixing bowl
2. Add the vanilla extract and water
3. Mix with a whisk until smooth and any lumps are dissolved
4. Pour into a tall glass for coating donuts
5. Dip each donut hole into the glazing, allow to drain and place on a plate. Glazing will set in about 20 minutes.
